A warm and friendly welcome awaits you from your hosts, Margo and Agnieszka.
On arrival, they will gladly share their knowledge of the Garden Route, and assist guests with planning their ideal list of things to do. They are also very knowledgeable regarding popular places to eat, and often encourage people to discover some of the hidden gems the area has to offer.
Agnieszka is Polish born, but has been resident in South Africa for about 31 years. She has been living in the Garden Route for the last 14 years, and really enjoys going for forest walks and exploring the local ‘food scene’. She has great flair in the kitchen and has become well known for preparing a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast. She caters well to vegetarians and other ‘diet specific’ guests. (As long as you let her know in advance :-))
Margo is originally from Tsitsikamma. Her interests in Hospitality and Graphic Design took her to Cape Town for several years. After her studies she did some travelling before returning to the family hotel business. She loves the beach and also has an interest in photography and art. During their stay, Margo makes an effort to find out what visitors would like to experience during their stay, and enjoys planning tailored itineraries.
After a few years of being involved in community projects, catering etc... the ladies decided to try their hand at running a bed and breakfast. They have been operating 9 on Heron b&b since 2008 and are going from strength to strength.
